Abstract: This paper puts forward an endogenous analysis framework about regional economic convergence based on the facts of factor flowing, and finds that there exist obvious characteristics of periodic divergence in the progress of regional economic growth. Due to the phenomenon of “factor chasing technology” in the process of economic evolution, the factors will always flow into the advanced technology areas and generate regional economic gap, and the crowding effect in the progress of labor flowing will make the regional gap continue to exist and stabilize. In addition, after the spatial correlation effect is incorporated into consideration, the SDM model shows that the flowing of R&D elements among regions does not bring significant technology spillover effect. Neither the β—convergence nor the club convergence in the East, Middle or West was significant in the whole period from 1995 to 2017, which suggests that the lack of convergence is partially caused by the existence of technical gap between regions.

摘要: 本文在内生经济增长理论背景下,提出一个要素转移条件下的区域经济收敛性分析框架,发现地区经济分化呈现明显的阶段性特征。由于经济演化中存在“要素追逐技术”的现象,要素始终朝着技术先进地区流动并导致地区间经济差距,而劳动流动的拥挤效应使地区间差距持续存在且趋于稳定。采用空间面板计量方法并将空间关联效应纳入模型后,发现地区间研发要素流动并未带来显著的技术溢出效应,无论β收敛还是东中西部地区的俱乐部收敛特征,在1995~2017年整个时间段上均不显著,说明地区间技术差距的持续存在导致地区间经济差距长期分化。
