Abstract: Abstract: There are two views in previous work of firm upgrading :the one perspective focuses on the internal resources of the firms, the other perspective focuses on the external network environment as network resources. Based on resource theory and network theory, this paper explores relationship between resources, global network tie and upgrading of local firms. The empirical research shows basic resources and organizational resources have significant positive influences on the upgrading of local firms, business embeddedness has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between resources and upgrading, while positive effect of global network ties on the upgrading is not found. The findings of this study provide some guidance for the resources accumulation and network construction．

摘要： 摘要：在以往企业升级的研究中存在两种视角，一种强调企业内部资源禀赋的重要性，另一种强调作为网络资源的外部网络环境的重要性。本文融合资源基础观和社会网络观两种观点，对全球生产网络背景下企业内部资源、网络联结与升级之间的关系进行了实证分析。结果表明，全球生产网络背景下，基础类资源和组织类资源对本土企业升级具有显著的正向影响，网络联结对本土企业升级并未表现出直接影响，但是业务嵌入性网络联结在基础类资源与企业升级的关系中起调节作用。本研究的研究结论对于本土企业在全球背景下进行内部资源的积累和网络联结的构建具有一定的指导意义。
