Abstract: Abstract: The article takes Zhejiang province as example and tests the effect of financial quality improvement and quantity expansion on county territory production efficiency by using Zhejiang county- level panel date based on stochastic f rontier analysis(SFA). The conclusion is financial quality improvement makes very significant strong positive contribution to production efficiency improvement whether in sub-economic zone region or in the whole province,while financial quantity expansion has much less significant positive effect on production efficiency improvement only in some inland county territory . The policy implication is that the transformation of financial development pattern will be favorable for the county territory production efficiency improvement.

摘要： 摘 要：本文以浙江为例并在其县（市）面板数据的基础上，利用随机前沿分析方法（SFA），对县域金融质量改善是否比数量扩张更具生产率提升效应的问题进行了计量检验。研究发现：金融质量的提升，无论在浙江全省县域还是内部各分区层面上，均对生产效率具有显著的促进作用；而金融数量扩张，只在部分内陆县域层面上对生产效率提升产生了相对弱得多的促进作用。研究结论意味着，推进县域金融发展方式从数量扩张型向质量提升型的转变，将有利于我国县域经济生产效率的提高。
