The empirical research on farmers’ cognitive of trans-genic biotechnology and adoption behavior --useing planting trans-genic Bt cotton as example

农户对转基因生物技术的认知及采纳行为实证研究——以种植转基因Bt抗虫棉为例

Abstract: Abstract: This study,useing the Heckman selection model, analyses empirically farmers’ cognitive of trans-genic biotechnology and adoption behavior on basis of the 327 farmers’ information in Anhui Province, The result shows that the education level of the head of household, social capital,exchanging ideas with other villagers, the county of national seed subsidy program, participating in trans-genic biotechnology training are more significant in promoting farmers’ cognitive of trans-genic biotechnology; but the age of head of household presents a negative role. The significant positive impacts on farmers’ planting trans-genic Bt cotton are the education level of the head of household, social capital, exchanging ideas with other villagers, the county of national seed subsidy program, participating in trans-genic biotechnology training, bollworm occurrence degree,but the prices of Bt cotton seed presents a negative role. Finally, the study put forwards the policy recommendations on basis of empirical research.

摘要: 摘要:本文以安徽省327个农户为研究对象,运用 Heckman 选择模型对农户关于转基因生物技术的认知及采纳行为进行了实证分析。实证结果显示:户主文化程度、社会资本、与村民交流的频率、国家良种补贴项目县、参加转基因生物技术培训等因素显著促进农户对转基因生物技术的认知;而户主年龄则呈现负向作用。显著正向影响农户种植转基因Bt抗虫棉的因素有户主文化程度、社会资本、与村民交流的频率、国家良种补贴项目县、参加转基因生物技术培训、棉铃虫发生的严重程度;而抗虫棉种子价格呈现负面效应。最后根据实证研究提出了相应的政策建议。
