Abstract:

This paper discuss the influence of capital-labor substitution elasticity and biased technological progress on agricultural economic growth in theory,and the result from the estimate of the factor substitution elasticity and biased technological progress index of 28 provinces in 1978-2013 show that the value of the factor substitution elasticity is more than 1, and the technological progress is toward capital. The result from using the panel data model to test the effect of factor substitution elasticity and biased technological progress on agricultural economic growth show that Capital-labor substitution elasticity and biased technological progress index has a positive correlation with the agricultural economic growth rate, that is they can promote the agricultural economic growth.The result is consistent with the theory, that is, the elasticity of factor substitution can promote agricultural economic growth, and the capital biased technological progress tends to promote agricultural economic growth in the case of factor substitution elasticity is greater than 1.

文章从理论上讨论了资本-劳动替代弹性和技术进步偏向对农业经济增长的影响,估算了28个省份1978-2013年间要素替代弹性和技术进步偏向指数,结果显示,要素替代弹性大于1,技术进步主要偏向于资本;并用面板数据计量模型检验了要素替代弹性和技术进步偏向对农业经济增长的影响,结果表明:资本-劳动替代弹性和技术进步偏向指数对农业经济增长率呈正相关关系,即能促进农业经济增长,这一结果与理论推导一致,即要素替代弹性能够促进农业经济增长,而且在要素替代弹性大于1的情况下,资本偏向性技术进步促进农业经济增长。
