Impact of Knowledge Network Embeddedness on Innovative Capabilities: the Mediating Role of Organizational Learning

知识网络嵌入性对企业创新能力的影响研究——基于组织学习的中介作用

Abstract: Both knowledge network and organizational learning have been viewed as major sources as innovative capabilities of companies under open innovation. This paper first discusses the connotation of knowledge network embeddedness and its measures. Second, it analyzes the relationship between and among knowledge network embeddedness, organizational learning and innovative capabilities. Third, it presents a conceptional model of knowledge network embeddedness facilitating innovative capabilities of companies emphasizing the mediating effect of organizational learning, and proposes some basic assumptions. Finally, through the investigation and empirical analysis of 139 questionnaires, we found the size, centrality, tie strength, and tie quality of knowledge network have a positive effect on innovative capabilities of companies. Organizational learning acts as a partial mediator between knowledge network structural embeddedness and innovative capabilities, and as a full mediator between knowledge network relational embeddedness and innovative capabilities.

摘要: 本文探讨了开放式创新下知识网络嵌入性的内涵及其测度问题,分析了知识网络嵌入性、组织学习与企业创新能力三者之间的关系,提出了知识网络结构嵌入性、知识网络关系嵌入性经由组织学习进而影响企业创新能力的概念模型和基本假设。并通过对139家企业问卷调查和实证分析,发现知识网络结构嵌入性中的知识网络规模和知识网络中心性、知识网络关系嵌入性中的知识网络关系强度和知识网络关系质量对企业创新能力具有积极的影响。组织学习在知识网络结构嵌入性与企业创新能力之间起到了部分中介作用,在知识网络关系嵌入性与企业创新能力之间起到了完全中介作用。
