Abstract: Along with the accelerating urbanization process, on the one hand, to promote the development and utilization of urban underground space, on the other hand, in the process of the operation of underground space often appears safe hidden trouble problems which seriously damage the social stability and people's life safety, enhancing the level of operational safety underground space is needed.To this end, this paper ,the perspective of government regulation,based on the analysis of the potential safety hazards and its causes in the operation of underground space makes suggestions for improving the safety regulation effect of underground space from establishing a sound system of laws and regulations for the safety regulation of the operation of underground space,improving the safety regulation of the operational use of the organization system and the responsibility allocation,constructing safety regulation system ,improving the performance evaluation system of underground space safety regulation and clearing the contents of safety regulation in the operation of underground space,which provides the oretical support in order to ensure the security of underground space operations.
