Service Modularization and Innovation Performance of Financial Enterprise: the Mediation Effect of Organizational Modularization

摘要: 摘 要:服务模块化是金融企业在混业经营、跨界竞合和顾客需求差异化等背景下,提升创新绩效并增强竞争优势的一个方向选择,与服务模块化相伴而来的组织变革问题,是金融企业的需要考虑的关键问题。本研究通过数据样本实证方法,证明服务模块化对金融企业创新绩效存在正向影响。在此基础上,发现组织模块化对服务产品模块化到创新绩效之间关系有正向的调节作用假设成立,对服务流程模块化到创新绩效之间的关系的负向调节作用假设不成立。研究参与到“镜面假设”新近研究的对话中,有助于探明企业模块化系统的三个维度,即产品模块化、流程模块化和组织模块之间的内在联系机制,并更好地把握技术型创新与管理型创新之间的关系。

Abstract: Abstract:Under the background of mixed operation, cross-border competition and differentiated customer needs, service modularization became a new option to improve innovation performance and enhance competitive advantage for financial enterprises. Accompany with service modularization, the organizational transformations direction was also a key issue. This study proved the existence of a positive impact from service modularization to innovation performance with empirical methods. On this basis, the positive mediation effect of organizational modularization on service product modularity was true, while the negative mediation effect on service process modularity is false. This study participated to recent research dialogues on the "mirror hypothesis", and helped us to understand the intrinsic links among product modularization, process modularization and organization modularization. It was also offered a better comprehension on the relationship on technical innovation and managerial innovation.
