全球价值链参与、生产率提升与城乡收入差距

摘要/Abstract

摘要： 经济全球化背景下参与全球价值链为缩小我国城乡收入差距提供了新机制,本文的理论分析表明参与全球价值链带来的全要素生产率提升效应缩小城乡收入差距。据此,利用2000~2013年海关数据库测算我国省际层面的全球价值链参与度,发现全球价值链参与度的提高显著降低城乡收入差距,且该结论在稳健性检验中也成立;全要素生产率的提升在参与全球价值链缩小城乡收入差距中起到部分中介效应;参与全球价值链通过贸易和FDI两个途径显著提升全要素生产率。因此,新时代要充分发挥全球价值链在缩小城乡收入差距中的积极作用。

Abstract: The global value chain participation under the background of economic globalization provides new mechanisms for narrowing the urban-rural income gap in China. Theoretical analysis shows that the increase in productivity brought about by the global value chain participation will narrow the urban-rural income gap. On this basis, using the Customs database from 2000 to 2013 to measure China's global value chain participation at the provincial level, the empirical study finds that the increase of the global value chain participation significantly reduces the urban-rural income gap, and this conclusion is supported in the robust test. Besides, the total factor productivity plays a partial mediating role in narrowing the urban-rural income gap by participating in the global value chain, and participating in the global value chain significantly improves productivity through both trade and FDI. Therefore, it is necessary to exert the positive role of the global value chain in narrowing the urban-rural income gap in the new era.
