国家现代农业示范区与劳动力:政策拉动下的就业增长

摘要：

本文利用2006—2015年中国健康与营养调查数据库(CHNS)和国家现代农业示范区的两套数据,探究农业示范区对农村劳动力就业的影响。通过双重差分法研究发现,农业示范区可显著增加约5.4%的农村劳动力就业且结果稳健。进一步的分析表明,农业示范区通过基础设施建设和企业集聚效应这两种影响机制来促进劳动力就业。可见,推动国家现代农业示范区的建立对促进农村劳动力就业、提升区域劳动力市场活力具有重要意义。

Abstract:

Based on the data of China Health and Nutrition Survey (CHNS) from 2006 to 2015, this study explores the impact of China’s Modern Agricultural Demonstration Zone on the rural labor employment. Analysis by means of Difference-in-Difference finds that the agriculture demonstration zone significantly increases rural labor supply by 5.4%. Further study shows that the agriculture demonstration zone promotes the employment through two channels: the infrastructure construction and the agglomeration effects. This paper also examines the positive spillover effects of the agriculture demonstration zone on the labor employment. This study proves that the establishment of China’s Modern Agriculture Demonstration Zone is conducive to promoting the rural labor employment and improving the labor market vitality.
