高管海外经历影响企业供应链话语权的机理研究

Research on the Mechanism of the Impact of Executives' Overseas Experience on the Discourse Power of Enterprise Supply Chains

摘要: 随着中国经济的快速发展,海归人才“回流”趋势明显,这有利于企业提升供应链话语权。本文探讨高管海外经历对企业供应链话语权的影响机理与路径机制,并利用2008—2022年中国上市公司数据进行检验。实证结果表明:海归高管能够显著提高企业供应链话语权;机制检验显示,海归高管有助于企业实现高端化、智能化和绿色化转型,从而提高供应链话语权;异质性分析发现,在非国有企业中海归高管的供应链、供应商和客户话语权提升效应更为明显,而在高科技水平和中心城市的企业中海归高管的供应链与客户话语权提升效应更为明显。因此,中国应当加强人才国际交流,同时注重区域协调发展,为企业营造市场化、法治化、国际化的一流营商环境。

Abstract: With the rapid development of China's economy, the trend of “return”of returnee talents is obvious, which is conducive to enhancing the discourse power of enterprise supply chains. This paper examines the influence mechanism and path mechanism of executives' overseas experience on the supply chain discourse power, and conducts tests by using the data of Chinese listed companies from 2008 to 2022. The empirical results show that: returnee executives can significantly improve the power of supply chain discourse; the mechanism test shows that returnee executives can help enterprises realize high-end, intelligent and green transformation, so as to improve the discourse power of the supply chain; heterogeneity analysis finds that in non-state-owned enterprises, the effect of returnee executives on enhancing the discourse power of the supply chain, suppliers, and customers is more pronounced, while in enterprises with high-tech and in central cities, the effect of returnee executives on enhancing the supply chain and customer discourse power is more obvious. Therefore, China should strengthen international talents exchanges, simultaneously focus on the coordinated development of regions, and create a first-class business environment that is market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized for enterprises.
