“回忆类比”还是“结果模拟”?——消费者智能硬件采用中学习策略与调节定向的匹配研究

Analogying with Memory or Simulating the Results? ——The Matching Effect of Learning Strategy and Regulatory Focus on Consumers' Intelligent Hardware Adoption

摘要: 如何通过营销手段提高智能硬件采用率是企业关注的重要问题。本文基于信息线索效用理论和调节匹配理论,通过三个实验研究消费者调节定向与学习策略的交互效应对其智能硬件采用的影响。结果表明:消费者的学习策略和调节定向之间存在匹配情景,当促进定向消费者使用结果模拟策略、预防定向消费者使用回忆类比策略时,更能引发积极的智能硬件采用意愿,其中场景灵感起到中介作用,同时智能硬件的拟人化水平对上述交互效应存在调节作用。基于此,企业在智能硬件的营销推广中,应注意消费者在调节定向以及智能硬件在拟人化水平方面的差异,引导消费者开展匹配的学习策略。

Abstract: How to change the low adoption rate of intelligent hardware is a major challenge for enterprises. Based on the cue utilization theory and the regulatory matching theory., this paper conducts three experiments to explore the matching effect of the learning strategy (analogying vs. simulating) on the adoption of intelligent hardware by consumers in different regulatory focuses (promotion vs. prevention). Research results are as follows: The matching effect is proved between the learning strategy and the regulatory focus. When the target consumers are promited to the simulation strategy, or are prevented to use analogying strategy, they will have a higher level of willingness to adopt smart hardware; It is proved that the scenario-based inspiration plays a mediating role in the above matching effect; It is proved that the anthropomorphic level of intelligent hardware has a moderating effect on the above the matching effect. Based on these results, in the marketing promotion of intelligent hardware, enterprises should pay attention to the differences in regulatory orientation of consumers and the anthropomorphic level of intelligent hardware.
