Internet Insurance, Space Spillover and Residents Online Consumption——Empirical Evidence Based on Weights of Asymmetric Spatial Networks

互联网保险、网络溢出与居民网络消费——基于非对称空间网络权重的经验证据

Abstract: Based on the data of Internet insurance index and residents' network consumption index of 30 provinces in China from March 2014 to December 2015 published by Ant Financial Services Research Institute, this paper constructs a spatial panel data regression model by using asymmetric spatial network weight identified by the gravity model, and uses the spatial econometric model to investigate the network spillover effect of the Internet insurance on residents' network consumption. The results are as follows: (1) China's provincial Internet consumption presents a complex and multi-threaded spatial association network structure, which shows that the spatial association of Internet consumption has broken through the geographically adjacent or adjacent spillover effect, and the network spillover effect is increasingly apparent. (2) Residents' network consumption has significant spatial network clustering and spatial network dependence characteristics. (3) Internet insurance has promoted the improvement of residents' online consumption level through “risk dispersion effect” “technological innovation effect” and “industrial structure upgrading effect”, and it has a significant positive network spillover effect in space.

摘要: 文章利用蚂蚁金服研究院公布的2014年3月~2015年12月中国内地30个省份的互联网保险指数和居民网络消费指数数据,通过引力模型识别的非对称空间网络权重来构建空间面板数据回归模型,并运用空间计量模型考察互联网保险对居民网络消费的网络溢出效应。研究发现:(1)中国省际互联网消费呈现出复杂的、多线程的空间关联网络结构形态,说明互联网消费的空间关联已经突破了地理上相邻或邻近的溢出效应,网络溢出效应日益显现;(2)居民网络消费存在显著的空间网络集聚和空间网络依赖特征;(3)互联网保险通过“风险分散效应”“技术创新效应”“产业结构升级效应”促进了居民网络消费水平,且在空间上具有显著的正向网络溢出效应。
