数字金融发展能提升能源效率吗

摘要:

基于2011—2019年30个省份面板数据,采用双固定效应模型考察了数字金融发展对能源效率的总效应、中介效应以及门槛效应。结果表明:数字金融发展能有效提升能源效率,但区域异质性分析发现提升效应只在东部和西部地区显著,中部地区不显著;数字金融发展通过提高创新水平和创业水平提升能源效率;随着创新水平和创业水平的提高,数字金融发展对能源效率的提升效应增强。

Abstract:

Based on the panel data of 30 provinces from 2011 to 2019, this paper uses a dual fixed effect model to investigate the total effect, the intermediary effect, and the threshold effect of the development of digital finance on the energy efficiency. The results show that the development of digital finance can effectively improve the energy efficiency, but the analysis of regional heterogeneity shows that the incentive effect is only significant in the eastern and western regions, and not significant in the central region. Digital finance improves the energy efficiency by improving innovation and entrepreneurship. With the improvement of the level of innovation and entrepreneurship, the development of digital finance has a stronger incentive effect on the improvement of the energy utilization efficiency.
